Trade once. Be done. Let the account grow.
The One & Done System is a simple, disciplined way to trade SPY options using SPY/QQQ and the NYSE $AD line for confirmation: one high-quality setup per day, strict 15% max risk, 10–25% targets, and then you walk away.
The One & Done System
Most traders lose money not because they can’t read a chart, but because they can’t stop trading. The One & Done System solves that by hard-wiring discipline:
- One trade per day. One decision. No “just one more”.
- 15% max risk of the account per day. The stop is sacred.
- ATM SPY options only until the account reaches $2,000, then SPX options — same rules.
- QQQ and the NYSE $AD line are used for confirmation alongside SPY structure.
- Structure over feelings: levels, trend, and confirmation only. No indicators.
When your rules are this simple, your brain can finally relax. You’re not chasing the market. You’re waiting for the market to come into alignment with your plan.
“I am a One & Done trader. I take one clean, confirmed move per day with discipline, clarity, and calm. I honor my stop, take my profit, close the platform, and walk away proud.”
Every decision flows from this identity: preparation, execution, and the courage to be done for the day, win or lose.
The $612.91 → $10K Mission
The mission is simple: take a small account and grow it through one disciplined trade per day. No funded challenge hype, no wild leverage — just math, patience, and identity.
A modest 9% average gain per winning day, with strict 15% max loss, compounds shockingly fast when you only take high-quality trades and protect your downside.
This site tracks that journey honestly — the good days, the red days, and the lessons in between.
Example growth model starting from $637.40 with 9% daily growth on trading days:
| Day | Starting | +9% | Ending |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon Dec 1 | $637.40 | $57.37 | $694.77 |
| Fri Dec 12 | $1,384.36 | $124.59 | $1,508.96 |
| Mon Dec 29 | $2,758.43 | $248.26 | $3,006.69 |
| Fri Jan 9 | $5,042.52 | $453.83 | $5,496.35 |
| Fri Jan 23 | $11,937.49 | $1,074.37 | $13,011.86 |
| Fri Feb 6 | $28,260.38 | $2,543.43 | $30,803.81 |
This is a model, not a guarantee. Real results depend on discipline, execution, and risk management. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s consistency.
Live Equity vs 10K Goal
The smooth line is the model curve from $612.91 to $10,000 over about 60 trading days. The other line is my actual equity from one SPY/SPX options trade per day using the One & Done rules: SPY options until the account reaches $2,000, then SPX. SPY structure, QQQ, and the NYSE $AD line must all agree on direction. No indicators.

About the Trader Behind the System
I’m Lewy — a husband, dad, builder, robotics guy, and trader who finally got tired of giving back good wins because I couldn’t stop clicking buttons.
After studying SPY/QQQ structure, the NYSE $AD line, and working with mentors like Jimmy over at Trading Decoded, I realized something simple: the edge isn’t just in the setup — it’s in the discipline to take one trade and be done.
The One & Done System is my way of turning that realization into a repeatable daily routine, backed by risk rules and identity, not hype.
This site is not financial advice and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. It’s a transparent look at a structured approach to trading, meant for education and documentation of one trader’s journey.
As the account grows, I’ll share more detailed breakdowns, trade examples, and resources — including how I eventually transition from SPY options to SPX once the account size justifies it.
